Position Summary
Responsible for overseeing and enforcing the implementation of the laws and regulations as well as in-house policies to ensure the bank complies with the requirements of the regulators.
Job Responsibilities

- Lead in developing and updating the compliance checklist and carrying out compliance Bank-wide checks to address compliance requirements and standards.
- Collaborate with and support the work of internal and external auditors as well as regulators for compliance review.
- Coach and mentor subordinates, identify training needs, and recommend appropriate development programs.
- Oversee, review, and update policies, procedures, operating manuals, and guidelines to ensure that they are consistent with laws and regulations.
- Develop training tools and materials and provide training to all staff.
- To support, facilitate, review, and ensure Deika's response letter to Regulators was submitted to regulatory in a timely manner.
- Review and perform regulation assessment upon receiving the new regulations by disseminating to the concerned department for implementation, Update in compliance library and compliance checklist.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on regulations and update senior management and board meetings.
- Support the Project Team in terms of product/service enhancement or establishment to identify requirement documents for seeking approval or notify NBC.
- Review new and existing policies, procedures, guidelines, and SOPs to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements

- BA in Commercial Law or any relevant degree related to the job.
- Certified compliance professional is a plus.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Compliance and/or the financial services industry.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.
