Prince Bank extends cooperation with Visakha Football Club for another 3 years in supporting Cambodia football development

[Phnom Penh, September 11, 2023] At the PRINCE stadium today, Prince Bank and Visakha Football Club signed a renewed Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of Mr. Honn Sorachna, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Prince Bank, and Ms. Ou Panha Soketcha Managing Director of Visakha Football Club, along witnessed by H.E Ke Suon Sophy and the senior management of Prince Bank, Visakha Football Club, and media representatives. 

This agreement strengthens the partnership between the two organizations and aims to provide stability and prosperity to national team and club competitions. It also renews Prince Bank's sponsorship with Visakha Football Club for the 2023-2025 season as part of the Bank's CSR initiative for Sports Excellence. The ultimate goal is to support sports development in Cambodia and compete in major international events.

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Honn Sorachna, Managing Director and CEO of Prince Bank, stated, “Today marks a significant milestone for the future of football in Cambodia and its long-term stability. It is our great pleasure to announce the renewal and strengthening of our cooperation agreement with Visakha Football Club. Prince Bank and Visakha Football Club share the same common of contributing to the long-term promotion of sports in Cambodia, We believe and expect that Cambodian football players will become more famous and have the potential and show their professionalism, and capacity of the younger generation, which is a strong pillar of our country, they will be more capable and progressive in the future. Prince Bank will be involved in urging the spirit of sports and will continue to support football activities in Cambodia. Together, we are committed to promoting an active society and upholding the spirit of sportsmanship.”

In the event Ms. Ou Panha Soketcha Managing Director of Visakha Football Club stated “ Today is a great day for Visakha Football Club to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and continue 3 years partnership with Prince Bank and we extend our gratitude to Prince Bank for its support of Visakha Football Club even during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The achievement of Visakha Football Club is to win the Samdech Techo Hun Sen Trophy for three consecutive years and win the AFC Award in Indonesia, and we hope that Visakha Football Club players will participate in the international competition and bring Prince Bank's presence to International stage as well.”
